An exciting opportunity to join Allergan in a newly created role as Senior Manager Global Sourcing  Analyst based in our Marlow office.
 
In this role you will be primarily focused on developing and implementing sourcing strategies for all Sales and Marketing activity across the international organization. This will include but not limited to managing sub-category expenditure in areas like market research, creative services, digital marketing, events, exhibits, media, KOL programs, market data, business excellence and sales development programs/project.                
 
You will work closely with the International Strategic Marketing (ISM), Business Excellence and other keys stakeholders to identify requirements and agree the best sourcing strategy to ensure that all Sales and Marketing services are sourced effectively and efficiently enabling the Sales and Marketing team to deliver their strategies and maximize Return on Investment (ROI).
 
The position also involves identifying new opportunities and suppliers (disrupters) who can support Allergan in improving costs, quality, service and mitigate risks to its business.
 
A strong focus on building long-term sustainable relationships with both internal and external stakeholder, this capability and skill is a key performance metric along with the ability to deliver real sustainable procurement savings.       
 
Global Sales and Marketing Sourcing work closely with other functional groups across the organization (not just Sales and Marketing) these include, legal, Finance, Compliance, Commercial IT, HR and Supply-chain, sourcing projects are typically cross-functional so developing strong relationships with these groups is critical success factor for this role, if managed and executed correctly it will help embed the Category Management and Supplier Relationship Management within Allergan as part of the overall Procurement Strategy.
We are looking for candidates with strong experience in Procurement with an emphasis on Strategic Sourcing & Sales and Marketing Category Management. You must also be experienced in negotiating complex commercial agreements, influencing decision making, reviewing and managing stakeholders, assessing supplier capabilities and summarizing decisions and outcome requirements/expectations.
